Who we are
Dryer Repair Cedar Rapids is a local repair service for home dryers, and washers too, in Cedar Rapids, Marion and Hiawatha. When you call (319) 732-0047, you talk to the people who do the repair, not a national call center.
Dryers are most of what we do. That focus means we know how each brand fails, we carry the parts that fail most on the van, and most repairs are finished on the first visit.
Your technicians
When you book a repair, one of our two technicians comes to your home: Alan Smith or Richard Bollinger. They diagnose the dryer, give you the price and do the repair on the same visit.
Because the same two people handle the calls, the person you talk to about the problem is the person who fixes it, and the parts on the van are the ones they use every day.
How we work
- We test before we replace. A meter, not a guess, decides which part failed.
- You get the price first. One price for parts and labor, and nothing is repaired until you approve it.
- We fix the cause, not only the part. We check the vent on every call, because a blocked vent is behind so many failures.
- We tell you when not to repair. If a new dryer is the better buy, we say so. We don’t sell dryers.
- We stand behind it. 90 days on OEM parts we install and our labor. Aftermarket parts are not covered.

Gas and electric dryers from Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, Samsung, LG, GE, Amana, Frigidaire and Electrolux, plus home washers. The most common jobs:
